Privacy Policy
Introduction
Welcome to Smart Order, a property management system.
The Smart Order is owned and operated by Smart Order, Inc., a Hong Kong corporation, and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Company”, “Smart Order”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”).
We, at Smart Order, respect your privacy. This privacy policy (the “Policy”) outlines our privacy practices concerning the Service, including the ways your personal information and data are collected, stored, used, and shared.
For purposes of this Policy, the "Service" includes the Smart Order mobile application, its authentication and account-creation functions, and related services provided by Smart Order.
Data Collection
We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with services in line with your overall service request. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide and oversee this service to you.
General information, including the customer's hotel name and address and your contact information.
Information and correspondence our customers and users submit to us in connection with our Services or other requests related to our Services.
Information we receive from our business partners in connection with our customers and users of our Services.
Information Received Through Third-Party Sign-In
If you choose to register for or sign in to the Smart Order mobile application using Google, we may receive information from Google that is necessary to authenticate you and create, identify, or link your Smart Order account. Depending on the information made available by Google, this may include your Google account identifier, email address, name, and authentication information such as an identity token or authorization credential.
Through Google Sign-In, we request only the scopes necessary to authenticate you and create or access your Smart Order account. We do not request or use additional Google account data through this sign-in flow unless separately disclosed and authorized.
If you choose Sign in with Apple, we may receive an Apple user identifier, your name if you choose to provide it, your email address, and related authentication information. Apple may allow you to share your actual email address or use a private relay email address that forwards messages to your personal email account. Smart Order will treat the private relay address as the email address associated with your Smart Order account unless you separately provide and verify another address. Apple only shares your name and email address the first time you authorize Sign in with Apple, and you can change or stop sharing it at any time in your Apple account settings.
We do not request access through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple to account data that is unrelated to authentication unless we provide a separate notice and obtain any authorization required for that additional access.
Data Use
We will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us.
Information received through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple is used to verify your identity, register or sign you in, create or link your Smart Order account, maintain account security, prevent fraud or unauthorized access, provide the services you request, communicate with you through the email address associated with your account, and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell information received through third-party sign-in or use it for advertising purposes.
Data Sharing
We share the information described above with Google and Apple only to the extent necessary to provide sign-in and authentication. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the Service. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the security of the Service.
Third-Party Sign-In Services
Google and Apple process information in connection with their sign-in services under their own terms and privacy policies, including the Google Terms of Service, Google Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy. Smart Order is not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
Nothing in this section limits Smart Order's own obligations for personal information it receives, determines the purposes and means of processing, or otherwise processes in connection with Google Sign-In. Google's separate processing is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy information.
You may manage or revoke Smart Order's access through your Google or Apple account settings. Revoking access prevents future use of that sign-in method but does not automatically delete information already lawfully retained by Smart Order or delete your Smart Order account.
If you use Apple's private relay email service, delivery of communications through the relay is also subject to Apple's operation of that service and your Apple account settings.
Data Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
Data Retention
We retain personally identifiable information for as long as we deem necessary for the purposes set forth above. We may delete information from our systems, without notice to you, once we deem it is no longer necessary for the purposes set forth above.
We retain third-party account identifiers and account-linking records for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain your account, provide authentication, protect the security of the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Authentication tokens or credentials are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes.
User Rights
As a “data subject,” you are entitled to request from us information about the personal data we hold about you and the purposes we are using it for. If we hold personal information about you, you can request access to your data, including requesting a copy of the data that we hold; rectification of your data that we hold about you if you find it to be incomplete or inaccurate; change of the way of processing, restriction or termination of processing of your data.
Revoking Google or Apple access and deleting your Smart Order account are separate actions. To request deletion of your Smart Order account or exercise another privacy right, please use the account controls or contact method made available by Smart Order.
Revoking Google authorization prevents future Google Sign-In access but does not itself delete the Smart Order account or information retained as described in this Policy.
Changes to the Policy
Smart Order reserves the right to change the privacy policy at any time by posting the revised privacy policy on the website or in the application. The revised privacy policy will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. We recommend you check this Privacy Policy frequently to stay abreast of any changes.
